The Little Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in CT. We live 50 minutes away and we make the trek a few times a year because i crave their soup. They have a chicken coconut soup that has lotus beans and is the tastiest soup!
On our last trip we brought a friend who was equally pleased with their food.
We ordered appetizers, soups and dinners and we were very happy and content.

We have gone back several times since my review and i have not changed my opinion. They still get 5 stars and i have to add...they have the BEST crab Rangoons i have ever had.
Crab Rangoon- tasty but small size left too much crispy dough to small filling ratio. Crab asparagus soup too much scallion (?) so couldn't taste the crab or the asparagus. The peeking duck was cooked beautifully- it was delicious when wrapped in pancakes and sauce. Fantastic. Great eel roll too. Somehow the price charged was more than listed in the menu but it was corrected when I asked why. A little dark inside. Look forward to going back to enjoy more of their extensive menu.
Good food, great service, lovely atmosphere.
I have been there twice prior to Saturday's visit and the food was good. the second time, service was really slow and it was during the week. This past Saturday, service was beyond slow. The sushi was very good but the other food was average and not even hot, just room temperature. The thing that upset me the most was, that 5-6 tables after we sat down, got waited and served before us and left. I realize that there were only 2 wait staff, but this was not right. I will think twice before I go again in the near future.
I recently dined at The Little Kitchen Of Westport during my "reunion" trip to CT. It has been over 20 years since I last dined at this restaurant. I decided to stop in as I had missed this restaurant so much. The quality of the food is still excellent, the wide selection of the menu is fantastic, and service was impeccable. The best part of the dining experience was that I ran into a former college mate, who happens to be the current owner of the restaurant! This restaurant continues to be a gem!
The Little Kitchen what n amazing Asian restaurant.!! First the vibe as soon as you walk in is a positive one, your greeted with such friendliness, let me tell you the waitstaff is attentive but not overly attentive and the chef and kitchen really puts out some amazing food! Let’s not forget our amazing sushi chef you gotta come n visit!!!
Friendly service and great tasting dishes. I highly recommend their: General Tso's Chicken (white meat option); House Special Prawns, & Cold Noodle/Spicy Sesame Sauce👍
This is by far the BEST Chinese food in the state. I happily drive an hour to and from at least quarterly for lunch or dinner and it’s always amazing. I’ve never had a better scallion pancake and I don’t think I ever will! Little kitchens biggest fan!
